Food Groovers and Food Hoovers

Hi all, its been a while since ive last updated my blog. I can only apologise. Ive been working different shifts, 30 hrs a week, working out at least 3-4 times a week and being a mum to a soon to be 1 yr old very active boy! Mean while trying to catch up with friends inbetween. Its becoming easier living the clean lifestyle. So much so that if im shopping in Tescos and put the odd thing in my trolley thats not clean, i check to see if anyones looking lol Ive been working out in Deborahs world since last Christmas. Theses months have gone by so fast, but while they gone by my body has dramatically changed. I have no regrets , only regret is that i wish id met Deborah sooner. 1 of my goals was to fit in a pile of clothes ive had for a bout 5 years that ive never worn. Not only have i achieved that, ive gone through clothes as quick as ive washed them. Ive shrunk that quick i  wonder how long im gonna spend in a new top or jeans! Its nice feeling now having thighs in line with my armpits.Im no longer bottom heavy!

I was having a chat with a friend the other week about Mood Hoovers.(Someone who sucks all the good feelings out a room. They are obsessed with doom and gloom and that is where there conversations are focused.) Now if you have a think about it i bet you actually know a few people like that. Then we have the Mood groovers. (someone you can positively bounce off just by their good energy) Theres times when we all can be a bit of a Mood Hoover without even knowing. If your not a morning person i bet you tend to not want to be around anyone until youve fully woken up! Now the reason why im going on about this is, when your on a life change with your diet you will come across people that are Food Hoovers (people that will eat anything, dont want to change and are happy to push their habbits onto you and try ruin your progress) Yes theres people like this out there. They dont want to see you succeed where they may have already failed time and time again. Then we have the Food Groovers ( someone who are food savvy, want to see you succeed or might not be eating the same things but are positively supporting your efforts). I usually come across this in the staff room, after weeks of food groovers failed efforts i now see some have turned into food groovers and want a bit of what i got. Hope this has given you some food for thought. Stand your ground and remember why you are doing what your doing. What do you want out of your journey?  Ive given up on the scales, the numbers go down slow but the inches are coming off fast.

As you all may know i do most of Deborah Welchs classes, i really wanted to try spend the next few blogs talking about each type of class i go to and what they do.

I go to a 45min kettlebell class, this class helps me to burn fat for up to three days as long as ive given my effort during the class. After all you get out what you put in. I no longer go to my local gym. Why would i need to spend hours in the gym like i did before. Kettlebells really has helped to shape my body and melt away fat.
